Even though my "Bay"-series has basically just started and it is not yet finished (two more are still to come) I thought it would be nice to post something else in between.
We ran into this boat while exploring the islands and area north of Tromsö, in a little fisher village called Tromvik (I haven't taken any notes about my shootings there and I might be wrong with this location) during the early evening. The lighting situation wasn't bad but still I thought it would be better to return to the location later that evening.
The sun already had "set" a while ago, but since it's only creeping just below the horizon, there was enough light still. Luckily there wasn't any wind and the grass was hardly moving, which ensured me of enough detail there.
This is obviously result of my new passion for B&W imagery. I'm digging more and more into it and just the other day, me and a friend made a wonderful small print of it. Some notes of this you will soon find on my blog.
I hope you like it and thanks a lot for visiting.
