Time flies so fast. It feels like just yesterday that I posted my last image but it's again already a week.
Here's another one from my shooting at the lake. I took this one just a few meters away from "On A Little Island". The sun was just rising behind those trees and I used two filter with a total of 5 stops to preserve some at least detail in the shadows here.
I like how the mist rises from the water here, and diffuses the trees. It surely was a nice moment out there.
I noticed the dead tree hanging into the lake already last winter, and visualized an image similar to this. I would have liked to get a little closer, but my lens wasn't long, and getting closer wasn't possible.
As for the processing I did process two versions of this image in Lightroom, one for the shadows and one for the sky and then merged them Photoshop. After that some "Auto Levels" which revealed the blue in the sky again (this was pure luck, I rarely press on the "Auto Levels" button) and after that a little color processing in LAB mode.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy my work.

@Anthony /Jay: It was indeed very silent and calm out there. I'm glad that this mood transfers through the image.
