This is one of the last images I took during our one week trip to Norway. I wish I could name that location. We were back from an island called Sommarøy to Tromsø. So, somewhere along the road. If I find it out I will add it here. The sky was just wonderful the whole night. Something like from 22 to 3. It was long night and a tough shooting, but it was worth it.
The sun just started to rise above the horizon, and was just slightly over the horizon somewhere behind some of those mountains to the right, lighting the scene just nicely with it's warm light. I will have some other images, from the mountains behind me, which were bathed in the warm morning light.
The scenery was as impressive as it looks. I was crouched to the tripod in the swampy ground and the mountains were rising just in front of me, only disturbed by an occasional moskito bite.
Thanks a lot for all your comments on my previous images. I will as soon as possible reply to your comments, but I have been very busy during the last few weeks as work has started now again. I will give an update with news around this blog in the next few days.
Processing wise this image hasn't seen much. Minor adjustments in Lightroom and a tiny, little, colour adjustment in Photoshop.
I hope you like and thanks for visiting.

Were you using a filter on here?

Great use of perspective, the strong focus on the green grass in front make this stand out of the ordinary!
Great job!

@Chris: Yes, as in most of my landscape photography I used filters here also. I'm not sure anymore which one, but it should be a 2 or 3 stop GND soft filter.
@SiZr: I took this one with my most used lens, the 17-40mm.

I like your clear and calm representation of it.
