I spent the whole the weekend in Lapland due to a work-related trip. Unfortunately the conditions were rather unpleasant, so there's was no chance for some photography, even though I took the camera for a little walk. Since I had no W-Lan available there, I couldn't update this blog as I hoped I could.

On the blog I announced a little project that I started to keep myself a little busy during the not so bright and grey times. This original project is still in a stage of research and development, but it kind of evolved into a little side project, meaning this one.

I have been visiting this location before, but now I decided, to make a little project from it. Originally I thought a "Four Seasons" kind of idea, but that somehow didn't look too inspiring. I chose therefore, to return to this location multiple times and do the same kind of composition. Maybe like once a month, or a little less maybe.

I'm not sure yet, will I have access to the very same spot in spring and summer, as the ice I was standing on will not be there then. At least it shouldn't ;-)

Either way, I'm looking forward to the next results and I hope you like it.

Hi Sven!

Matthias

Thanks for your comments and sorry for my insanely late reply.

@Matthias: Du hast recht.
