Got Stuck? | Info + Comments (5)

I got myself a bright and shiny new lens yesterday, and of course I had to take it for a little walk just before it started to rain. I felt myself a little stuck in the landscape theme, and had the feeling that I always more or less did take the same image, just with another view in front of it. So I thought it's time for some new input.

I went to the race track to test the lens on some horses (maybe I post something from there later) and after that I went to a nearby forest to do some close-ups. It was very nice to do something totally different, though I have to learn a lot more about how to see and frame with that lens, but it feels very inspiring. It's a totally different world.

I like the colour and texture of the tree and the way this one leaf kind of got stuck in there.

I hope you like it and thanks for visiting.

PS: This image will look better with the dark theme.

Silver birch, one of my favourite trees, especially with a light wind blowing through the leaves. Great texture here, but no need to abandon your landscapes - they are great and varied.

Thanks a lot for all your comments people.
@Eric: No, I'm not going to abandon anything. I just had the feeling some more variety couldn't hurt.
