Okay, it is my fault. I promised you an image and a little video clip, and all you get is this picture. Shame on me ;-) But the clip will follow anyway. Someday. Maybe soon....
I know.... Sven ....shut up.
This one is from my recent, and very spontaneous trip to Norway. I wish I could tell you what's the name of this mountain or river. I went there without any kind of maps, and had absolutely now idea where I was or I was going to. I was somewhere between Kilpisjärvi in Finland, and Tromsø in Norway. Obviously I found my way back, but that's about it.
I had to wait a while, before I could take this image, as it was consistently raining at only that spot, and I had to do some serious raindrop-bracketing here, as I had to dry the lens after every image, and only a few came out "dry". You can see that rain-cloud also in here.
I will post some more from this short trip next week and hopefully then with the video. But that's no promise...
Either way, I thank you for visiting and hope you like it.

very nice photo. Love the composition and contrast. The coulds in the upper left are a bit distracting, almost like smoke from a nearby fire.
Concerning the location: I had the same problem. Running aimlessly around beautiful scenery and afterward I really wanted to know where it was that those photos were taken. That's when I decided to get myself a GPS Logger. That solves this kind of problems once and for all. I can really recommend it.
All the best,
Stephan

I am sure that this isn't a smoke as Stephan sad, this is fog or just a cloud, isn't is?
Anyway, I like the various weather and tones on the photo.

I love this shot. What I like the most is the smooth water combined with the great cloudy background.
The exposure is perfect. Did you use a ND filter to avoid the overexposure of the sky?
