Today I write to you my with a special request for a little help.
Story is, that in November this blog is about to have it's second anniversary and I planned to celebrate this with a little redesign of it. I have some ideas like adding a portfolio site and some other minor additions to it.
One thing that I wanted to do for the longest time, is adding something like a logo to the site. I tried to create one myself, but usually it ended up with me not even having an idea how and or where to start. The only, and not even half decent result you can see here on the blog.
And this is why I wondered, whether or not, someone of you is able and willing to help me out by creating a logo for me which I will then use here on the blog, on my live-blog, business cards (should I ever get some) and so on. Basically everywhere where I need it ;-)
I thought it would be nice to do this as a kind of competition (well not really, but just don't know a better term for this). As a prize for the chosen logo, I will offer a nice 30x40cm, black and white print on high quality paper, signed and with a custom made passé-partout shipped to any place in the world.
What I'm looking for is a simple and stylish logo which should say "From 10 to 300mm - Landscape photography by Sven Seebeck". Basically a typographic one would be fine. A nicely styled font will do. The color-scheme of this site will not change, so you get an idea what kind of colours would be nice and suitable to use.
If you are interested in participating in this little competition it would be nice if you could leave a note in the comments, so that I know that something might be coming ;-)
The deadline for this should be in the middle of October at the 15th so that I have enough time to include it in the design of the site.
