In between all the activity here on my blog with it's ongoing re-design, name changing and the attempt to have holidays at the same time, I managed to write a little article for Martin's blog at Kwerfeldein.de.

I introduced a little bit the Silver Efex Pro plugin which, with no doubt, has become my favorite plugin. I simply love it. It's not a how to which I wrote, merely a little introduction into the software.

So, if you read Deutsch, I would like to invite you over to Martin's blog and have a look at it.

As I have done with other articles, I will of course also post the article here in English also in the future.

Martin Gommel from Kwerfeldein.de had to take a little time off his blog, as he is busy producing a teaching DVD, and he asked me if I contribute a few articles for his blog.

Today, the first one, an Interview with blogfriend fellow Pixyblogger Andrew Thatcher has gone live. I'm a huge fan of his work, so it was just natural for me to do an interview with him. So if you read german, I would like to invite you over to Kwerfeldein.de and have a look what he has to say.

It had been a very busy time recently and finally the snow has melted away and I try to use all the time that I have available to look for new locations and or go out shooting, meaning I haven't been very active here on this blog.

Either way, I had some time to do a little guest post on composing in landscape photography over at Martin's Blog Kwerfeldein.de.

Julia from German photography blog Fotoholiker asked me again if I could contribute an article for her blog. Since I have been busy recently doing more and more videos and screencasts here I thought I will do one for that purpose.

I have been guest blogging again.

No, I’m not neglecting this blog of mine, but Julia from german photography blog “Fotoholiker.com” asked me to contribute an article for her blog. I think it’s an honor to be asked to write something for someone elses blog and of course fun. In that article I have listed some things that I learned about landscape photography. Stay tuned for an english version of that post in the near future.

But I have to tell you that it’s nowadays surprisingly much more difficult to write something in my mother-tongue than in English, maybe I should do that more often.
