The vacation season is over and I thougt it's about time to give a little update here on my blog.

As already announced earlier I expected it to be a rather busy vacation, and I was right. I had a photo shoot in the east of Finland, two trips to the north of Finland and finally a week in Norway. Additionally I shot my first wedding (not professionally though of course). Now I have a huge backlog of images waiting here on the hard-drive. Normally processing the images doesn't require too much time, but since my work life has returned, time is short and limited now.

I have a post about the trip to Norway almost ready but still have to do some fine tuning in there, plus finding the accompanying to go with it. Which in return also need to be processed. Also I promised a little video for it a while ago. I'm now actually almost done with the processing of it. So I may, possibly soon, under certain conditions.... be able to finally upload it. One day in the near future (I should not promise this anymore ;-) )

Besides my photographic efforts I wrote and published two articles for the blog "Kwerfeldein" in German language. One of them I already announced here (I will also publish the English version here soon) and the other one is a little article on "balance" in composing an image. If you read Deutsch I would like to invite you over to Kwerfeldein.de and have a read on it.

Another addition to the side, is my newly launched "Live-Blog" on Posterous. The idea of the live blog is, to post some "behind the scenes" stuff while I'm at a shooting. I hope to be able to post some iPhone camera pictures, videos and maybe some audio comments. I'm looking into the possibility to have it directly posted to this blog, which would be ideal. But for the time being, I would like to invite you over to my Posterous Live-Blog, and subscribe to my feed there. At the moment you find only some test posts there, but I hope this will change in the near future.

Another site-related news is, that from now on I'm going to sell prints here on the site. I'm currently beta-testing the new print selling feature here on Pixyblog. So feel free to purchase a print, so that we can see if it works ;-)
