Today I would like to tell you about an interesting video project that was brought to my attention yesterday. Fellow blogger and photographer Manfred from Zoomyboy has a started an interesting video project entitled: 30 Seconds of Photographers.

And here’s what it’s about:
As the title suggests, the idea is to produce a 30 sec video in which you tell, show, demonstrate why you like photography or what it means to you. You can use whatever tool you like, a screencast, a video with your cameraphone, a video camera, webcam....
Once the videos are collected, they will be cut/asembled into one big video. Which should get a very interesting result.

If you want to participate, you first have to join video sharing site Vimeo (if you haven’t already) and then submit your video to this group. Alternatively you could also upload the video to your own site, and provide a link from where it could be downloaded.

A deadline for this project has not yet been announced. So, there’s some time I guess/hope.

I think this is an utterly fascinating project, and I will submit my video as soon as possible, and of course also post it here. I already have a few nice ideas, but still have to work on them a little. I you read/understand german language feel free to check out the original post here. The project though is not restricted to German language.
